I am going to donate 10-13 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. I'll get it cut sometime before/during Christmas break. This idea was inspired by the girlies last night, but it is also something I've wanted to do for a long time. My hair is getting really thin and nasty, so I think if I get it slightly layered and cut, I'll be able to take better care of it.

Football game tonight at LAHS! First night game at LAHS in history! The marching band will be severely depleted, but there! We'll play stand tunes, but not march at half-time. See you there! 7:30 for Varsity!

oh, mel, you're hair is so pretty! i am definately impressed that you let it get this long and didn't get fed up before, so i can see why you'd want to cut it. way give it to a good cause tho!

also, are you conducting at the game tonight??? i heard you might be cuz diane will be at the wind ensebmle concert.... well, i'll be there no matter what!

short haired buddies! my salon , lisa lisa, on main street by casa lupe is like SO AWESOME, they totally know how to do short hair with layering and the works!They know me and my mom ,carol, so just mention us and they will be like "that crazy girl!!!!" ok there ya go and i cant wait to be a short hair buddy with you!!!

um, my hair is by no means going to be 'short'. it's still going to be like to the bottom of my bra or longer. 10 inches doesn't make my hair 'short'.

and my hair will never. ever. be. short. (because i'm just not a short-haired girl.)

Only you man.
I think you'd look a little strange with short hair. But you might have shorter hair when you're older because apparently it makes you look younger. But that's when you're like sixty, so you have a while.
I wonder if my little sister will ever cut her hair. Mind you if she donated ten inches it would cover the scalps of twenty five people because it's so thick (believe me, i had to untangle it once after she'd been swimming and i got so tired i almost had to take a nap in the middle.)
