Subject: STRUCTURAL DRAWING |
|
Week 1 Lecture: The importance of craftsmanship. (again!) They are really pushing this, guys. Think about how your name is on the project and it's a representation of you. They don't want half-assed or sloppy things. Straight lines, straight cuts, neatness counts! Assignment:Took notes: Linear Perspective
ATMOSPHERIC PERSPECTIVE
Plan Projection Method-Precise, blueprint, usually architectural perspective drawings. Direct Perspective Method-"Make it up as you go / eyeball it" Station Point-Position of viewpoint, eye level, horizon line, or height of station point.
Week 2 Lecture: There was a demonstration on how to create a floor grid. I found a similar lesson here. Assignment: Practice drawing basic 3D shapes in perspective on the grid. (A cone, a cube, a rectangle, a circle -[not a sphere])
