personally avoiding work because everyone is made we don't cover business closure due to a virus. which really sucks, small business owners are losing their everloving minds, which is 100% understandable. it just sucks to have to have that conversation with someone.makes you feel like the bad guy, even if you are just the messanger.

Ohh geez. You work in insurance at LM, right? Are they letting you work from home at least? Yeah, small business owners are in a real bind right now. Along with pretty much everyone.

It's OK over here. My music studio switched to online video lessons, which was an amazing move on their part. Helping teachers get consistent pay and kids and families get a break during the week from the doom and gloom.

Fiance and I were supposed to fly down for a house-hunting weekend in North Carolina next month, that's not happening now. Wedding is June 6th, and we're questioning whether we'll need to postpone due to the virus and now the economy tanking, a factor that might make it harder for guests to come. It sucks. But we're relatively doing pretty OK compared to lots of the folks around us.

It's rough, not gonna lie. Went to a big box store today for some necessities and nearly had a heart attack. Dummies do not respect personal space. If I don't kill my parents by giving it to them somehow, it will be a miracle. My hands are cracked from all of the washing/sanitizing... better that than the alternative. I'm honestly terrified on the daily.

Also, if it's not just being afraid of death/killing someone, it's the complete collapse of the economy and an overwhelming fear of impending homelessness.

=( Oh man, that is rough. Yeah, aside from the public health concerns, the economy is what's scaring me most in terms of the long-term ramifications.
