UPDATE!
Helloooooo everybody! I felt like updating because my last entry was sad. SOOO, I decided that this shall be my first real, more than one sentence update since who knows when. I survived finals! Yay! We lost our first league soccer last Wednesday, though. Sigh. But now it is BREAK, and it has already been awesome! Friday was Louise's lovely partay. After that I got a christmas tree with my family then went to my neighbors house becuase they had invited friends over to sing carols. So, becuase it is a VERY small world, not only is Miss Cano (who is geting married to a really nice, funny guy) and her whole family in this group of carolers, so is former MSS-er MELISSA PAOLI. The original Melissa. WOAH! So then they made me sing with her, which was slightly embarassing, but I think we did OK. After we sang, everybody else drank a lot of wine and Miss Cano's mom read my face... Very interesting... After THAT, Nicole, Louise, and I stayed up late and convinced Melissa that sperm and wenai had something to do with her computer (<3 you all!). Slept over at Louise's (duh). Then, had a 10:00 AM voice lesson the next morning. That was great. Paige totally thinks I should be an alto. She's like, "Melissa told me that there will be some spaces open for altos in MSS next year. Have you thought about presenting your alto voice to Mr. Shaull?" And I am like no, I am a soprano. Haha, sigh. Anyway, it was a fine lesson, so yeah. Then, later I went to the San Jose Rep and saw a one woman play called "Sugar Plum Fairy". It was funny, the woman was a little annoying. But! I was generally amused. It reminded me of Alison, because it was about the nutcracker! :) On Sunday, I went to church with Nicole! To stalk Patrick! But then he left, so we were sad! Nicole and Melissa and I basically talked through the whole service (hehe). We decided that I am God and Nicole is Jesus. Yesssss. Mr. Shaull thinks I should write a book and call it "Moldrid Goes to Church". He is a very weird man. I got to see Debbie, too. It is always so funny to see her and the weird one outside of school. So after that, my family and I went to San Francisco to shop! WHOOO! Then, we went to dinner and THEN, we went to a concert at Davies Symphony Hall (which is GORGEOUS at this time of the year). It was such a cool concert- the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers. The first half of the program was mostly spirituals and they did this awesome African thing. I think that I ahould try and convince Mr. Shaull to let us do an African Mass. I think that would be so cool. Haha. Anyway, the second half was half gospel music and half BROADWAY music (like Ragtime, the Wiz, Lion King, Dreamgirls, Ain't Misbehavin', etc.) The ended with "Oh Happy Day". It was SOOOOO good. I had such a good time. Anyway, so now it is almost Christmas and I am just happy! I want to go see movies! Lol. I love you all!

Molly: the girl who's voice topples water bottles (<3 Sara)
Mr. Shaull has had me stay for Girls' Ensemble (since I now have fourth period "free") for the last two days. Oh he also had me sing that high note (by myself!) above everyone in Girls 21 this morning! Anyway, yesterday, I warmed up in front of everyone and then sang the Et misericordia (sp? Ha, you'd think I'd know) solo. I also helped the sopranos with their line and sang the solo above everyone. I did alright except for the fact that I am completely incapable of mixing or bringing like ANY color to my chest voice. Ha. Today, Danika and Lindsey were there too, so they sang before I did. I worked on the "high parts" of the same solo as Tuesday. It was great because he now totally thinks I can't handle low notes at all. ANYWAY, I had to hit that high A like a zillion times because he wanted me to break glass and... I wasn’t... We also concluded that my biggest need above everything was to take a chance. Sigh. Oh well. It is good for me to be doing this I guess... builds character. Haha, Kristen Bailey sang alone for a little bit also. Mr. Shaull did one of his exaggerated imitations of her faults (for her it was trapping her sound in her throat etc.) and he made this funky sound. So she is like “Is that what I sound like?” and he is like “Well, yeah.” And she’s like “Ewww.” HAHAHA. So funny. Aaaah freshmen. Anyway, we’ll see about singing. I’m alternating feeling good and not-so-good about my voice. Oh well, just got to keep on keeping on.

On a different note (HAHA, I made a pun!) GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I am officially finished! Goodnight ladies and gentlemen!

Quote of the evening “I own a lumber company?” -President George Bush. Among other things, I am also pleased to know that President Bush will not elect a supreme court justice who supports slavery.

....Needless to say Mr. Kerry kicked some major Bush booty. He was totally on tonight. Way to go John!
