Have you ever called home and interrupted your family's dinner?

Well, it sucks.

It's kind of sad for me to think of my whole family around the dinner table: my sisters, mommy, and grandpa all in the dining room where I used to eat (most of) my meals. They're all sitting around plates and bowls filled with fresh, hot, yummy, home-cooked foods... Catherine probably telling funny stories about her weird teachers, Regan telling about her day at work, Mommy & Granddad smiling, laughing... everyone's happy and glad to see eachother... the house is warm and cozy... my puppy sitting very patiently by my mom's chair, waiting for a scrap of chicken fat or garlic bread crust.

I wouldn't give anything, but I'd sure as hell give a lot to be there right now. Instead, I'm in my room in Tallahassee. Alone. Hungry. Cold.

I love my freedom, but I love my family.

I know I go home "a lot" according to my neighbors. Even my mom is surprised at how soon I'll be visitng after each time I leave. I usually don't go more than 2 and a 1/2 or 3 weeks tops without being in West Palm Beach... but I really miss it sometimes.

Especially now.

All I ate today was one Chewy Granola Bar and I don't even want anything else I have. I still have to figure out how much money people owe me, when I need to return my replacement Blackberry by, and how I can possibly pass College Algebra at this point.

I don't even feel like going out recently. I just want me-time. I want my life back. I want to be happy & organized & responsible... while having more fun.

I just really need to reach a point of moderation. And I need to do this before I go insane.

Sigh.

Tha present I got fer Vance from Buckle.com FINALLY came taday. 4 days late.

So I called Buckle.com ta get a refund fer tha extra $$ I spent on 2nd-day shipping. "It*s not our fault. We shipped it out on time buh FedEx landed their planes b/c of snow storms & weather problems. They said they*re not giving refunds. Call them."

So I called FedEx. "We*d refund yoo... buh yoo paid Buckle.com directly. Tell them ta refund yoo n then we*ll refund them."

So I called Buckle.com AGAIN. I had ta explain tha entire process ta a new rep and told her "The normal shipping cost was $0. If I didn*t care when my package arrived, I would*a selected tha 2-3 wk shipping at no extra cost. Buh I cared when it got here so I paid extra fer it ta come by Thursday. Buckle.com specifically gaurunteed it*s arrival on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2oo4... and I got it taday. 4 days late. I refuse ta pay fer services I don*t recieve." We argued back & forth fer a couple min*s before she gave in n said "I*ll put in a claim fer yoo." So, I asked, "May I have tha claim # so I can follow up on this myself?" And she said she*d call me later w/ tha claim #. Yeh rite. I*ll prolly end up calling again tamorrow.

Buh I*m not gonna give up & pay fer that shyt.

It*s their business and they*re making me pay $$ fer something I didn*t get. How can they "not refund" me? Thaz bullshyt.

Mommy said that tha next time I get pissed off at whoever I*m talking ta, I should jez ask fer their supervisor cuz I*m not gon waste my time talkin ta someone who can*t make a diff ta my situation.

Las time this happened, it was w/ Blockbuster.com who charged me a bullshyt $20 fer... nothing? I didn*t even use their services! So I called a rep n was on hold fer (no lie) over 13 minutes. Once I finally got ta speak w/ an actual person, she argued w/ me that "Oh, yoo shouldn*t put yer info out on tha web" and "Yoo shouldn*t agree ta terms & conditions yoo haven*t read" so I kept telling her "I refuse ta be charged fer a misunderstanding." After 10 minutes of arguing, I was in tha middle of my sentence when she goes, "I*ve just refunded yoor account in full." lmao! So i thanked her & hung up. It*s all a matter of annoying them until they give in :)

She didn*t put in my claim like she told me she would this morning. We argued back & forth AGAIN w/ her saying "We can*t lose money b/c of an act of God" so I told her, "I am a customer and yoor business revolves around ME. If it weren*t fer ME (ME = customers in general), yoo would lose money anyway and be put out of business. I honestly think that keeping ME happy is in yoor best interest."
She told me ta call FedEx back, so I told her "This is yer job and it*s ridiculous of yoo ta suggest that I do yer dirty work. I*m going back & forth btwn yoo & FedEx ta simply be refunded $8. Pleez jez direct me ta someone who can actually solve this fer me."
She fwd'ed me ta her manager who is in a meeting and will be back tamorrow.
Ugh. I left a message. Let*s hope she calls back.

Got a B on my Chem 1 Honors exam :) Prolly got an A on my SAT Prep exam.
So easy.

So, my projected GPA is like a 3.0 which suckks major.

Came home after school ta work fer Mama fer 2.5 hrs. It was fun hanging out w/ her, getting las minute stuff done. We should spend more time tagether... even if it is in tha office.

We had dinner at City Pizza & tha bill was disgustingly high (cuz of increased gratuity fer 9 ppl). So gay.
Blair, Lorenzo, and Vance were being dummies, tho. Acting like they were some ganksters wanting ta fight these lil mexican boys. Such dorkos.

I had a fun nite tho. Anytime I*m kissing my boyfriend is a good time ;)

Saturday is Christmas... I can*t wait ta give Vance his presents! Aghhhh I wanna write whut I got him in herre buh he*ll see it SO I*ll write it up after we exchange on Christmas Eve. All I can say is that I got tha cutest card I*ve everrr seen. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was tha one. It*s not mushy or lovey-dovey or corny or cutesy or "You*re the best husband" or "I'm blessed to have you in my life". It*s funny and cute and cool and... perfect! =) I got him 3 actual presents.. 2 of which are sposed ta come by mail tamorrow. I*ll freakk if they*re late!

I have absolutely NO idea whut he got me. None at all. And thaz really cool cuz I dun wanna know. I LOVE SURPRISES. Like more than anything. Well, not more than I love him... lol ;P

I think I got a B on tha US History Honors exam. I know I got a B on my PreMed exam (which suckks). I know i got an A (91%) on my English 3 Honors exam. I*m clueless as ta whut I got on tha Marine Bio exam, tho. Prolly a B or C? Suckks.

So, yeh, was like 5 min*s late ta my PreMed exam. They waited fer me. How sweet. Tha only hard part of tha exam was tha subjective/objective data in tha Case Studies. Kinda.

Heather G, KP, Nickel, & I went ta tha Boynton Mall instead of going ta 5th hr. Shopping is much more fun than watching a movie in class.
We met up w/ Carissa who is FINALLY down fer vaca!! I missed her sooo much! She looked sooo f*ing pretty taday. Her hair is shorter n layered n highlighted n soo cute! She said she felt all grungy from tha car ride buh she was so perdy :)

I made friendly w/ a cute mall worker (works at Spencer's) named James. He gave me his # (uhm yeh I def didn*t ask) and told me ta call next time I g2 tha mall. I*ll prolly hit em up next Thursday when Heather & I g2 get our hair straightened. We*re virgins! First timers! We HAD ta get it done tagether ;/
Anyway, she & I have a bunch of plans fer Christmas Vaca from ice skating to hair appt*s to working out to sleepovers. We*re becoming better friends like every day n it*s really cool. We think soooo much alike. Like we*ll be walking & look at eachother n be like making fun of tha same thing on tha same person. She*s not as critical as I am buh she*s a meanie on tha inside, lol, thaz why I love her! I hardly have anyy girl friends cuz I jez enjoy being w/ guys soo much more, buh she*s one of tha few cool girls I like ta chyll with.
She*s not tha best driver, tho! lol jk I love yoo even if yoo hit speed bumps at 40mph and ride tha curb and almost park in tha Battalion Chief*s parking space! =P
