I SHOOK HIS HAND!
So as many of you already know, I went to see *drum roll please* JOHN KERRY speak last night in San Francisco! For those of you who don't know who he is (like so many other teens! grrrrr), shame on you. He is the extraordinary democratic presidential candidate for our United States of America. I went last night with my mother, father, sister, cousin, cousin's girlfriend, cousin's friend, and cousin's friend's girlfriend. HAHA! Yes. We got there and after being bombarded with JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT pins, bumper stickers, etc. and getting through security, we made our way into the room in which he was to give his speech. We stood there for about half an hour or so (there were no chairs!) until a representative came out and introduced... a really crappy band. They sang for much too long. But after that was finally over and we thought Mr. Kerry would finally come out, a different representative introduces a different (thankfully better!) band. Some of the members were in The Greatful Dead. They were good but ended up playing for nearly an hour and a half in efforts to stall because apparently Kerry was somewhat late (Yes, only two hours I was standing in between a bunch of old fat people in uncomfortable shoes. But hey, who’s complaining?) Finally, a man came out to introduce John Kerry, but only after a women actually fainted. Yes, excitement! And then, FINALLY, he comes out. I am just about twenty-five feet away from the possible president of the USA! He his there with his wife, who is supposedly amazing as well.
His speech is nothing short of incredible.
So after I have nearly clapped my hands off, it is over and he proceeds to meet and greet the guests. I attempt for nearly thirty minutes before I SHOOK HIS HAND!!! Yes, I, MOLLY DOW SHOOK JOHN KERRY, FUTURE PRESIDENT’S HAND (Shut up, he WILL win!) And then, to top it all off, my sister got his signature on a spiffy St. Francis (the hotel we were in) napkin. AAAAAAAAH!
Oh, and we made a secret service friend! We saw him on one side of the room while we were waiting for Kerry and then on the other side of the room later and he says, “Deja vu. We meet again.” HAHAHA! AND, I talked to an Assemblyman, Joe Nation!
SOOOOOOOOO EXCITING!!!!
So I am all signed up for Kids for Kerry and everything; Mr. Bush is going down!

LALALA
Well, I suppose I will update for real now! Number the Stars made my schedule super busy! The show was great! Thanks to all you who came to see it! To all of you who didn't, shame on you! I had a really fun time with the part, it was good to finally have a substantial role. Not the lead, but hey! It gave me a chance for my dramatic side to shine out. But somehow, I am content that it is all over now. Of course it was fun, but it was stressful and emotionally draining. And I'm very excited to have less complication in my life... But to all the # the *s people, love ya lots! Awesome job!
As for school, I'll update by period:

0- We’ve been doing fitness testing. I did about the same in everything so far as I always do. Yay for me. I REALLY did not enjoy the fat thing though! But I wasn’t as scared as Julie. Haha, Julie we love you. I don’t want to run the mile! Oh well there are worse things in life...

1- English has been kind of boring lately and often Miss Robertson isn’t even there. I am REALLY not looking forward to writing an essay about this book. But, I have to admit I am enjoying it. I’m a major English nerd I guess.

2- Boring as usual. But I have been getting all my homework done and therefore not having to do it at home. Woohoo! Announcement: I am going to take Honors Algebra next year. YAY!

3- Yucky... this, I believe, is the most mature update of all time.

4- Frustrating as usual. Mr. Shaull gave me a little hope today, though. That was new. Going to Egan a while ago was fun. Yay for us Mel! Remember those girls? They were so rude!

5- We’re doing that CWHP thing. It was fun talking to the Simcon thing because he thought our group was really smart. World History has been amusing but there has been a lot of stupid homework. Oh well. Go us, Shri and Lauren!

6- Ugh... almost as mature as my bio update! Stupid dialogue!

I haven’t been to CC in a while. And I have probably told you about the fiasco with the attendance office. Annoying, but I have to admit it was pretty funny.
Random Announcement: Yay for Louise and her successes in track! I’m proud of you babe!
Nicole and Louise, we have to see Hidalgo this weekend!
That is about it from here! Over and out!

Miss Scarlet
You are Miss Scarlet. You are young and beautiful,
but WAY too obsessed with always dressing in
scarlet. You live a happy life with your pet
cats in a huge mansion, but you're still trying
to prove that YOU DIDN'T COMMIT THE CRIME!

Yay for Alison!
Now onto the post... damn the hormones! I am in a really sad mood right now. Life is so confusing. Lately I have been feeling really weird about myself, like I am the best I can be, but for many people that isn't enough. And it makes me angry, and sad, and a bundle of other emotions. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I be a normal person and not bury my issues? Why must I insist on complicating my life?

:: Music: What the World Needs Now Is Love

Current Events
In light of recent events, this is what I have to say to you, President Bush:

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No not just for some but for everyone.

Lord, we don't need another mountain,
There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb
There are oceans and rivers enough to cross,
Enough to last till the end of time.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No, not just for some but for everyone.

Lord, we don't need another meadow
There are cornfields and wheat fields enough to grow
There are sunbeams and moonbeams enough to shine
Oh listen, lord, if you want to know.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
No, not just for some but for everyone.

No, not just for some, oh, but just for everyone

I'd say some serious updating is in need, no?
What a week this has been! Although I do believe that in shortened terms my previous entry sums just about everything up, I suppose I can expand a little :)
Where to start.... Last weekend, Nicole, Louise, and I went to see Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. It enjoyable and very cute. We saw Maggie and Mr. Hayman too (not together. HA!) Nicole and I also had some SERIOUS fun seeing two movies, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (B-) and Welcome to Mooseport (I don't think we rated it but it was SO cute. Go Gene and Martia and Ray!)
But as all good things must end, my ab-fab (lol Nicole) weekend did as well. Concert Choir dove into work with rehearsals galore! So my week was basically singing, homework, and little more. However, I do believe that all our hard work fully paid off! The festival was a success in my humble opinion and very enjoyable. Although I personally felt a bit burnt out and that I didn't give my best performance vocally, I felt that as a group we did amazingly well! Yay for us! And as always Mainstreet was phenomenal! Yay for them! OMG, I forgot to tell you guys that Mr. Shaull noticed my socks!!!! HAHA!!! We were walking onstage and he glances down and says, "Never wear white socks," pats me on the back, "good try, though." MAJOR EMBARRASSMENT! But pretty funny though. But on the flip side, lots and lots of people complimented me on how good I looked in the CC dress. Super confidence booster. And in GE when Debbie was going around correcting everybody (posture, mouth-openess, breathing, whatever) when she passed me she said "You are perfect." Ahh, compliment overload! Thank you everybody you rock MY NICE WHITE SOCKS that I have been forbidden to wear ever again.
Anyway, I had lots of fun. Oh yeah, I liked the professor guy too. *BOOM* "A sign from above!" HAHAHA!
Bagels and Biscuits for Brunch!!!

Marriage is love.

To address Miss Roccaforte's question: This image and the caption "Marriage is love" is to support gay marriage. This my friends is the real civil rights issue of our generation just as women's rights and black rights are civil issues past and present. The world is scared of homosexuals and therefore is trying to forbid the ultimate way to show love for another human being for them. Think about how you would feel if you could not marry the one you loved, not to mention have to live with ridicule and prejudice simply to be with this person. When two people of any sex, race, religion, or anything are in love, that is all that should matter.
But it isn't to many people. And so I chose to put this image in my blog because I believe with all my heart that gay marriage should be allowed. Marriage is love, and should not be about ANYTHING else.

Stuff!!!
Yesterday Melissa, Nicole, and I hung out, had lunch and talked for a few hours! Very fun! You guys rock! Then Nicole and I went to see Miracle. In dear Nicole's words, YUMMY! It was really good... probably would have been better if Nicole and I had known there were only three periods in hockey... The game was over and they were all cheering and we're like "Geez, they still have a whole period more to play! Why are they so excited?!" Haha, we're great! We also saw Kelly. Very cool!
I had another voice lesson with Paige today and it was much better. I think I really made some progress... finally! Yay!
I am leaving for Disneyland tomorrow! Woohoo! I'll miss you all! Much love!

I went to see Memphis last night and it was incredible!!! I'll start from the beginning. My family and I went to Amici's for dinner. There was this guy at the next table over and he was being pretty loud and obnoxious. Luckily, I thought, he got up to leave early. As he left all the rest of his family was like "Bye, seeya at the show!" So, we're thinking, wow! Maybe he is in Memphis... Ya ok he was the star of the show! HAHAHA! I thought the star of a theatreworks production was obnoxious!!! I'm such a dork! But anyway, like I said the show was fantastic! Everything was awesome!

On a random note:

gotmusic111 (5:43:38 PM): r u interested in seeing the movie miracle?
Horseeyoregal (5:43:46 PM): yess!
Horseeyoregal (5:43:48 PM): hot guys all the way!
Horseeyoregal (5:43:50 PM): plus a good moral
gotmusic111 (5:43:56 PM): hahaha!!!!

Anyway, saw Peter Pan like 20 minutes ago. ...wasn't that great. Oh well! Whatever.
