Harold Weathervein
Harold walks down
any street of this town
both crier & witness
the sun drops clouds shift
his legs twitch

The clocks chime
on cafes, pharmacies, and dime stores.
In bar rooms he sits all alone

Erupting.

Inhisheadit'sliketheweatherback&forthitsliketheweather

When it rains it pours down.

Weatherman, do you feel?
Is it stormy inside of your veins?

Weatherman do you feel?
Is it stormy inside of your veins?

Pat, Kailey, who's next?
I hate all of you who gave up on woohu over a two measly bucks. You all suck. Now the rest of you are cool.

Whew
I'm glad it's over. 1 down, 5 more to go, plus 50 hours of driving and a road test... (and 2 more weeks of class). It went alright today... just a little abrupt on the starts, missed a sign or two, and a scary situation with a semi at the end.

-need better feel on the gas pedal
-parking
-work on straightening out after turning

Whew... had a fight with my mom at dinner... Wasn't fun. I admitted I was in the wrong, but there's still stormclouds.

Driver's training really sucked today, and I have my first drive with the instructor tomorrow at noon...

*Whimsical, yet dramatic, if sarcastic silence.*

High. Noon.

A lot of stress about nothing I guess, but I feel like I'm just not going keep my focus one day, and I'll cause an accident. I feel scared by my ability to just zone out sometime.

Enterprise was excellent tonight. I'm tired. Friday I have nothing, so I'll rest then. But, I have a research paper to start writing.

*Sigh* (Sorry that this is a day recap, but i have a strange urge to do this)
Even after 12 hours of sleep, I felt totally exhausted when I woke up. It was 11:30 when i finally got moving, and I took a shower, grabbed a pop tart and went down to Sternberg for a 60% excited, 40% dreaded shopping excursion. I managed to pick up some charcoal and sketch pads at Hobby Lobby while dropping off a picture of mine to be framed. Then, I went to B&N and picked up the latest issue of Blender... Had an interesting article in it about Evanescence. You probably know Ben Moody, even though he was co-founder of the band, left a few months ago unexpectedly. Turns out there were lots of bad vibes in the band, and it seemed liek Amy Lee wanted to pin it all on him. Plus, even though they were friends, she seemed to deny liking him the past few years and made it clear that it was WONDERFUL that he was gone. (Pretty sudden change... in the inside of the album Lee and Moody actually exchanged almost romantic notes) Plus, the album was mostly about an abusive past boyfriend of Lee's (A few songs that weren't: My Immortal, Hello), and Hello was written about Lee's younger sister, who died at age 3 from an unknown disease.

I wonder in what direction Evanescence will go now that Moody is no longer an influence. And I wonder if Moody, who is apparently now working with Avril Lavigne, will maker her go darker.

I got several shirts, including a vintage-lookin' Legend of Zelda shirt, and a U2 shirt at Insanitees. And I'm considering making a purchase on a Gundam DVD at EB.

Fun.

Now, drivers training.

Not as fun. Mind-boggling number of things to think about all at once. I guess I'll pick up on them. First driving time is on Thursday.

Restated Fact: Runaway Jury is EXCELLENT
New Fact: Mario Sunshine is EXCELLENT (though I long for the sheer geometric simplicity, the more varied levels, and transformations of 64, instead of the touchy controls of the water backpack. Maybe the Luigi and Mario games for GC2 (speculated name) should scrap the backpack cleaning devices and do something cool. ***How about 3D mario games with Frog, Tanooki, Hammer, Fireball, etc. suits, like in 3?)

Ramblings after a trip to the rental place
-Runaway Jury is an excellent movie.
-Skies of Arcadia: Legends is an excellent game
-Castle in the sky is excellent anime
-Ever notice that there were WAY too many bad horror/thriller films made in the 80s?
-Ever notice that there were WAY too many bad family films made in the 90s?
-Anyone see American Splendor or Adaptation? They both look interesting, but i need input.

Random Thoughts
props to Andy for the April Fools Joke...

Spring Break is finally here. I'm basically strapped to Skeetown because I have driver's training every day next week. Eh, it was that or take it in August.

We ate at the fish fry, and I smell like crap now.

Mrs. McConnell's dogs are here for the weekend. Fun.

There are about 5-6 movies i want to see. Anyone see Jersey Girl, Hellboy, Secret Window, or Walking Tall?

Question:

You just won five million dollars. You're walking into a store and you see a five dollar bill lying on the ground. 1) Do you pick it up? 2) What do you use it for?

solitude
Solitude

Your lyrics

How many times have you told me you love her?
As many times as I wanted to tell you the truth.
How long have I stood here beside you?
I lived through you, you looked through me.

Ooo, Solitude
Still with me is only you
Ooo, Solitude
I can't stay away from you

How many times have I done this to myself?
How long will it take before I see?
When will this hole in my heart be mended?
Who now is left alone but me?

Ooo, Solitude
Forever me and forever you
Ooo, Solitude
Only you, Only true

Everyone leaves me stranded,
forgotten, abandoned
left behind.
I can't stay her another night

Your secret admirer, who could it be?

Can't you you see all along it was me?
How can you be so blind as to see right through me?

Solitude
Still with me is only you
Ooo, solitude
I can't stay away from you

Solitude
Forever me and forever you
Ooo, Solitude
Only you, Only true

You are Form 1, Goddess: The Creator.

"And The Goddess planted the acorn of life.
She cried a single tear and shed a single drop
of blood upon the earth where she buried it.
From her blood and tear, the acorn grew into
the world."

Some examples of the Goddess Form are Gaia (Greek),
Jehova (Christian), and Brahma (Indian).
The Goddess is associated with the concept of
creation, the number 1, and the element of
earth.
Her sign is the dawn sun.

As a member of Form 1, you are a charismatic
individual and people are drawn to you.
Although sometimes you may seem emotionally
distant, you are deeply in tune with other
people's feelings and have tremendous empathy.
Sometimes you have a tendency to neglect your
own self. Goddesses are the best friends to
have because they're always willing to help.

Which Mythological Form Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

You belong in the world of darkness and are a part of the despair.
You belong in the land of darkness, otherwise known
as one of the worlds in which I dwell. All here
is beauty inspired by tragedy and great sorrow.
Write or go through other creative outlets to
express the anguish you may be feeling, and
never let anyone tell you that you are just
being 'weepy' or full of 'teenage angst'(if
you're a teenager.If not, then they really
should be punished for calling you one. They
probably are trying to insult your
maturity...fools.)and always remain yourself,
dark and amazing. Never change.

Tourquoise Vibes
Your Energy is Turquoise. Full of fresh ideas,
liveliness, and imagination, you bring faith
and enlightenment to others. You usually
project a calm and cool exterior and are
capable of dealing with demanding events with a
take it in stride attitude. You tend to see
things clearly and dont panic easily.

You relate well to the world of ideas and anything
innovative. You would make an excellent
inventor, scientist, quantum physicist, airline
pilot, astronomer or New Age entrepreneur.

What color is your energy?

Green Dragon
You are a green dragon. YOu dwell in the forest and
you love peace. You don't often bother yourself
with human affairs but you love to help when
needed.

Lyrics Time
"Last Train Home" ~ lostprophets

To every broken heart in here
Love was once a part, but now it's disappeared
She told me that it's all part of the choices that you make
Even when you think you're right
You have to give to take

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

I wonder if you're listening
Picking up on the signals
Sent back from within
Sometimes it feels like I don't really know whats going on
Time and time again it seems like everything is wrong in here

But there's still tomorrow
Forget the sorrow
And I can be on the last train home
Watch it pass the day
As it fades away
No more time to care
No more time, today

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

Well we sing if we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing if it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason to ever fall in love

But we sing
If we're going no where
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing with out a reason to never fall in love
To never fall in love again

"Sorry About That" ~Alkaline Trio

It hasn't been that long
Since we drank to the sunset, until it was gone
And down with it went our pain and fear
As we slowly broke contact
more and more with every beer
And we passed out in each other's arms
Both admitting we'd never felt better
Never felt so warm
But awoke in each other's eyes
Without wearing a stitch of clothing
We were both deeply in disguise
And maybe I just set aside
The fact that you were broken hearted
In my own special selfish way
And if I hadn't set aside
The fact that you were broken hearted
Hell knows where your heart would be today
Maybe with me

It seems like it's been so long
Since we kissed through the darkness
Until it was dawn
Up with it came our pain and fear
That we'd already lost each other
We both knew that the end was near
Maybe I just set aside
The fact that you were broken hearted
In my own special selfish way
And if I hadn't set aside
The fact that you were broken hearted
Hell knows where your heart would be today
Maybe with me

Maybe with me...
