Welcome to the "Extra Service Hour Club"
been a few days since i updated... This research paper's been a bit of hell. NHS induction tonight, which is going to be boring as hell. I woke up this morning feeling like i had meningitis... and it only now feels like it's somewhat going away. Myback from my neck down to my hips is sore, i have a bad headache, throat is sore... Chem's a bitch too.

Two people at school today started singing songs that i thought nobody had ever heard before at our school... I never hear anyone ever mention Something Corporate, yet today someone was singing Konstantine. And later, someone else was singing "The Golden Path" by Chemical Bros and Flaming Lips.

I need to go now.

One of these stupid retreats today. Could be fun, I mean we're going to see the Passion instead of doing stupid discussions all day.

I figured out there was a cache of my MP3s on the program files. I have about 30 of my most recent songs still accessable. the rest are still stuck on the damn E: drive.

Yesterday in Lit class I had extra time, so i did a Google search for Pittsfield. I frequent Berkshire.net to see what's happening back there, but i looked up businesses, Wachona park, and did a picture search. A lot has changed there, including an inhumanly high poverty rate. The baseball team is now the Pittsfield Astros, and all sorts of things are different about the town. It's kind of nostalgic. Kind of sad, overall i have a longing to go back to all my favorite locales, see my friends (they probably wouldn't remember me though), and go to things like the museum, now that i'm old enough to really appreciate them.

I wish I could go back east.

1967-1994
I picked up the latest issue of Spin today, and the issue is half devoted to a segmented Kurt Cobain retrospective. I had started to really listen to Nirvana (and their Grunge companions Mudhoney and Soundgarden) just last year, and I started to read up on Cobain's life. It was half consequence and half fate that seemed to spark his songwriting genious. It's something to aspire to, even with the pain he dealt with.

They have done these interesting, what i call 'history reroutes'. This issue's one, for example, showed a writer's take on what Kurt might have done if he didn't commit suicide in 1994. It was full of custody battles over Frances, critically acclaimed but not widely accepted solo albums, and suspicious accidents that looked like future suicide attempts. It was enthralling to see what one's mind rendered in terms of an alternate future.

The Void
It seems like things with me and Natalie have worked out. That's good.

This weekend for play was pretty good. I think Friday was our best performance, and closing night, despite a few mistakes (like Wilson missing a whole scene and one of the mics being left on) it was pretty good. About 90 people went to Buffalo Wild Wings Friday (Captain Morgan's sauce is EXCELLENT) and Saturday was the cast party at the Olovson's. He has a sweet house, and we watched SNL down there. Alas, I did not win an award. This year was probably my favorite year socially, what with Egan, Bryan, Zagar and others, but I still think last year's show was the pinnacle of my three years in play for the quality and dedication of the show (note: we had Alexa and Justin and Dan, but also had seniors who still cared, like Erin)

What's bad now is this void I have inside of me. I feel like, "Okay, play was great. But now it's over. What do I do now?"

Maybe I'll be going to lots of soccer games and tennis matches this spring to keep myself busy.

Anyone want to come with me?

Commendations to the Allegros and Cinderella. It was excellent!

But I want my costume back! (many costumes from Once Upon a Matress made comebacks on Shores' stage, including Erin's Mine, Rosie's, and Sara's...)

Good times... Excellent show.

Yet, she does it.

Top 5 things that happened at the station Saturday
1. We realized Jordan is an outspoken racist. He dropped the "N" bomb with some black people sitting around us.

2. Tom Burger came out of the hallway from the bathroom, but we don't know how he got there. This was like 1/2 hour after we sat down. That's one monster shit.

3. When Ben Affleck got on SNL Mark yelled out, "AFLAC"!!! and everyone in the restaurant looked at him. Note: people with buffalo wings snorted the stuff up their noses by accident. It burns... It burns....

4. Jordan stroked the mayo bottle like he was jerkin' the gerkin'... then he squeezed it and it squirted.

5. Mark asked what was a Bacon Cheeseburger...

Note: All of this was in plain view of Shepich... aka "Shepdawg" according to David Wilson. He sent us a message later... it was funny.

Unrelated Note 1: Inside of class I am Dovick's enemy. Outside I am his "Buddy"

Unrelated Note 2: The death stare is what kills you.

Unrelated Note 3: We need good acts for Summer Celebration. The last two years were excellent, what with Styx, Nickelback, Michelle Branch, Boston, and 3 Doors Down.

Creedence Clearwater Revisted isn't doing much for me. Radiohead won't come (family festival), and some acts that would be great aren't touring this summer.

Natalie and I are not on good terms
Susan and Natalie are not on good terms
Apparently Natalie is mad at Breed

See the root of the problems?

Natalie flipped out because i said some stuff to her ex-boyfriend when he was on her sn... we had fun talking, but the bastard told her everything we talked about.

It's not like Natalie never talks behind everyone's back. In fact, she does it a lot. She bitches and moans about her problems to everyone, and susan and i have had enough.

Let it be recorded in this journal that if Natalie does not want to be friends with me by next friday March 26, that susan owes me dinner at the station, at the next meeting of Domleandsu. If before that, I'm buying.

performances went pretty well this weekend, and the company has left. I didn't screw up at all.

We went to the station saturday night and raised serious hell. It was great fun. Three things have been established from that visit:

1) Tom Burger can just appear out of thin air
2) Jordan is an outspoken racist
3) Mark needed to ASK what was on a Bacon Cheeseburger

-------------------------------

All my MP3s are in a vegetative state, for when my dad moved the old hard drive to the E slot he didn't unprivatize his and my files, so the E drive thinks when you try to access them that another user is trying to, so it says Access Denied. I got some help from Josh on that, but I still need to attempt to recover them.

In other News:

-I have newfound respect for Mr. Shiltz

-There have been several UFO sightings in Skee Town recently. Anyone see any?

-I have opened up All Cup Tour, which shouldn't be hard to beat. This is good. Mirror Mode, and then I have the game beat
