I'm pretty sure that I will be coming back to Cedar this weekend.

So I've seen some interesting movies since I've been here. I'm going to throw out some recommendations, only 3, because that is all I have seen. But they have all been good enough for me to think that everyone else should watch them.

Little Miss Sunshine - Pretty much great in every way. It's creative, well constructed, and extremely funny. To cap it off, the theme of the movie is a wholesome one.

train_man (densha otoko) - Ohhh fantastic. If you are a nerd like me, you will sympathize with this movie in so many ways. About a reclusive Japanese guy who hooks up with a girl as members of an online message board monitor his progress and coach him on. If you're curious as to how loser otakus deal with relationships, check this out.

Moon and Cherry (Tsuki to Cherry) - Ok. This is essentially a hybrid porno flick (at least a forth of the movie is sex scenes) with an exceptionally engaging back-story featuring a 21 year old virgin. Again, I identify with this. It's about a chick that writes erotic literature and uses her sexual experiences for material. If only such women existed in the real world...

We have a pretty tight hall here, about 14 people who all know each other well and are friendly. There is a flamboyant guy across from us. He strikes me as gay in every way possible, but he has never made it clear and I've never assumed anything. To the right of us, there are two quiet kids... not really anything significant about them. The flamboyant guy hitting on the quiet kid has been a running joke for awhile... until two days ago. We (the hall community) found out that they slept in all day together, they went out to eat together, etc. At this point the attraction is common knowledge. It's hard to express how weird it makes me feel. It's mostly incredibly cute, watching them hug and such. I can't help but be a little jealous though, not of the man-love specifically (although, why not?), but simply because they have one another. This could get really sappy in a hurry, but I just have to say that I hate being socially retarded.

I'm all set up here at UofM. It's pretty cool, the atmosphere is great and my roomie is really ... good. I hang around him alot, he knows everyone and is very well connected in general. Nice guy. Lot's of crazy parties around, my roomie goes to them every night. I could go with him I guess but I don't. Kind of disappointed in myself that I'm not trying stuff but meeeh.. tough for me. Have gone to alot of school related pep things and errmm crap though, so the majority of my time has actually not been spent on the computer. Football game against Vanderbilt tomorrow and my classes start on the 5th, woo.

Okay... I know that "you're" exists. I know what it means. Most of the time on the internet, "your" means the same damn thing. I don't care that it's not proper, so please stop telling me.

On another note, I'm leaving for UofM in 2 days. I'm excited and nervous, the usual emotions for such a situation I think.

I worked my last day at Meijer on the night of the 19th and the morning of the 20th. Woohoo! At Meijers that night, Juliet Dragos came through my line at 1:30am (she is a local TV anchor for those of you who don't watch TV/don't live around here). She was with this man who spoke with a tremendous lisp and the first thing that went through my mind when I saw her was "this lady is on crack". When I noticed the expensive handbag and the plastic surgery style face, I got suspicious that it might be her. Swiped her credit card and sure enough, Juliet Dragos. She bought 4 cases of Corona, 2 bottles of brandy and a bottle of Bacardi vodka. Maybe she was about to go to work?

uhh AP scores a few days ago.
4 in Bio and a 4 in English Comp/Lit.
Mrs. Dolbee, when you told me it was important to respect you and pay attention in class, I'm pretty sure you were wrong. I did everyone in the class a favor by being a brat and disrupting you constantly.

Yeah, I talked to Andy and now i have this neat woohu. I'm not sure what to do with it, my life isn't very interesting. I mostly like to complain about stuff. That is what I hate about internet journals, they are just places for people to whine. If I wanted to hear about everyone's problems I would become a psychologist and be paid to do it.

"Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them."

-Lou Holtz

If only I followed such wise advise.
