Soooo it's Christmas eve. I am not done with my shopping, but now I just have friends to shop for who I will not see until after Christmas. Ha, I am giving you all the shaft. Also my dad is getting the shaft cause I don't know if I'll finish his present in time. At this point, I'm guessing not but who knows, maybe I'll get motivated.

In other news, I discovered this wonderful new invention called "Reindeer Corn". It is delicious. If you enjoy high fructose corn syrup. I believe that is all I have to say. Have a good christmas.

Sooooo my roommate is leaving in half an hour and I don't know if I'll ever see her again. Yesterday she had a panic attack and had to go to the ER. She's been pretty sick for a couple weeks now. So today she's flying to New York to stay with her uncle and decide if she's gonna stick it out or go back to Korea. I'll miss her like the dickens.

soooo I went to an academic advisor today. I got up early for no reason cause it's quite possibly the most pointless meeting I've ever had. She said she couldn't help me, and also tried to convince me that I won't be able to get a good grade in my philosophy class. Then she tried to lighten the mood and talk about Thanksgiving but I was having none of it. I always suspected advisors were full of shit, and now I have proof.

I'm safely back in Michigan. After 14+ hours of travel each way. Can you believe I didn't see the light for 12 hours?! At least. I mean the sun went down in Georgia around 6 and didn't come up in Michigan till like 7:30. But see those times are irrelevant now. I mean I learned my perception of time isn't crazy. It's actually pretty natural. But since I'm in school and work and all that bullshit I have to go with that senseless "linear time" model. Alas, alas, one day it will be behind me.

On the business side of things the weekend was waaaaaaaaay more than I EVER could've expeceted. I mean I just didn't know about these people. Where have they been hiding? I mean we all hear the myths of the saints, the food-not-bombers, the wandering hippies and the puppetistas. But to meet them in the flesh is another thing entirely. They had the world to offer me and I had nothing to offer them but my energy and my gratitude. We're really close to beating this though, if anyone cares you should write to your reps. Fuck being "anarchistly politically correct". If legislation gets the job done, it gets the job done. When I am of sound mind I'll give some specifics if anyone's interested. (even if you're not)

Sooooo I started filling out an application to U of M. I can't believe I'm going thru all this again. To date college (and applying to college) has given me about 4 nervous breakdowns. Looks like I'm going for a fifth. Or maybe even a 6th! Woo-hoo!
