YES! HA HA!!! YES, YES, YES!!! THIS IS SO AWESOME!!! She's so close to joining us now...so close to believeing. I can feel it... I can feel it in my blood, my bones, my very soul. This is just evidence that if you believe without any proof, proof will find you. God does keep his promises. But I musn't get cocky, the fight is far from over. On a more solemn note, I must send my heart out to you, Tori. I have to say I'm proud. Proud of all you've conquered. Of all I know you can and will conquer. I'm deeply, deeply sorry for you uncle. Just answer one question for me. If you think being a Christain stops you from going to hell, will the rest of the religions and athiests and everything in between, go there in your eyes?

Being christian doesnt stop you completely. Being christian really doesnt have much to do with it. I am really tired at the moment therefore I really cant concentrate...... so then I will try to answer your question later. Or Paul will try to do so for me. But to most it does seem complicated............. yet only if you dont understand it that much.

Okay, judge me then, say that just because I believe in the most logical explanation that I am evil. And yes, everyone else will die. But only because they brought it upon themselves. We are all evil at heart. evil to the core. we are fallen. we brought death and pain and suffering into the world and the only one who can save is god. and he will, if you'll let him. A part of him, the holy spirit, will flood your soul and thus saving you. It's like catching a fish on a line or net and slowly realing it in. There is no other way to get it out alive.

And one question. Look at yourself. what are you afraid of. a chance to live and you freak out.

The reason I believe is simply that I believe that our ideas are flaud. That is obvious. We need help. and I believe, even if were wrong, even if there is no God, believing made us better, happier people. so it's worth believeing in.

I'm kind of afraid of the fact that you believe so severly in a thing that has never been proven. You may think it a sin, but I don't believe in Jesus. I'm going to hell in your eyes apparently... and so are all the Jews, and the Muslums...

Is everyone infirior in your eyes? I personally think that is just rediculous. To shun others away, in a sence, just because they don't think the way you do. Isn't that a bit pig-headed?

How do you KNOW God is real?

I'm also afraid our country will parish... because we can't separate church from state. 49% of the rest of the country has different beliefs than you... And probably more...

I just don't get it. Can you explain it to me how you can love something so much that hasn't been proven to be there? And if God is there, IF, how come he lets so much death and distruction happen around us?

I can answer your last two questions.
1. Faith. Its a strange thing. But its what all christians have in Jesus/God. Its logical to us that he exsists. We cant explain it.... and in our minds..... we dont have to. We dont give a flying fuck if God has been proven or not. But just think about it. Its too perfect. The position of our planet. The way the moon is in our gravitational pull. The fact that Earth is the only livable planet in our galixy. Its too perfect. It couldnt have been made up by chance. Its impossible. Yes, impossible. The only thing that is impossible in this reality. All this couldnt have been made by chance. Its too perfect.
And plus, why should we believe someone that (in a sense) knows just as much as we do about all this? Its like looking in the dictionary on the meaning of 'real'. You are asking someone that knows just as much as you do about the most complex thing known to man.

2. The only reason why God lets all this happen is because he gives us a choice. A CHOICE! He doesnt want to interfeer with our lives because it makes us weaker. If he does one thing to help us then we will always ask him to do more which, in short, makes us spoild. In his mind he says "If you want to fuck up your lives go right ahead. If you want to believe in me, no one is stopping you. And if you want to balme all your mistakes and the mistakes that others make and the distruction and ingnorance of your entire world on me......... I dont really give a shit. But Im always here for you to come to when you need me."

In short...... its all about faith and logic.

No. no one is "inferior" just misled. we don't shun them away. we love them, or all of us that truely believe do. you can sum up the old testimate in two phrases. Love god, love people. christianity isn't about condemning people. It isn't about thinking your better than everyone else. And it's not about proving other people wrong or cutting them down or disregarding the fact that their beliefs are valid. It IS about bringing people up and saving lives.

And your right. our country will fall. but for a different reason. the reason our country was so strong in the first place is because GOD empowered it. How do I know this? Look at the constitution. Look at the fricken dollar bill! What does it say on there? In Allah we trust? no. In Rah we trust? no. In Buddah we trust? In monkeys and science we trust? no, no, and a little more no. It does say In GOD we trust. "...One nation under GOD..." The list goes on and on. The first schools of America were put into place to teach people to interpret the BIBLE. now our country has turned it's back to God, and it's starting to fall apart. what a coincidence.

As far as proof goes, it has been proven. not through science or anything our physical bodies' five senses can detect, but rather through ones feelings. you see, if you believe without any proof, proof will find you. God can't force himself on people but as soon as you choose to believe he will enter your heart and make you whole, and you'll never feel the need for anything else in your life. you may want things. but you won't NEED anything. that's why I believe. Since I took that leep of faith almost a year ago, I've never felt empty and alone.

And for the suffering bit? well...like I said, god can't force himself on people. He gave us free will. In genesis it clearly explains why we were created, and that is basically to keep god company. to be his companions. a puppet doesn't keep someone company. something you control just doesn't make a good companion. God wanted more than a puppet. So he gave man free will, and PROMISED never to deny them there free will. So we sinned, and fell short of the glory of god. we basically betrayed him. He gave us so much and we spat in his face. and we continue to do that. You see, it's our oun fault there is death. death was born from sin and we CREATED sin. the fact that this world is so twisted is our own fault. ours. yours, mine, everyone elses' fault. okay. I've rambled enough. Just think about it. How can so many people believe in somthing if it didn't make their lives worth while?

First of all, the 'Under God' part of the pledge of allegence was added long after the origional song was written. They added that as to not be thought of as a communist country because the Cold War was going on then. So 'Under God' doesn't really have any significance...

Next, my answer to the question 'How can so many people believe in something if it didn't make their lives worth while?' Because they were blinded from the start. The small children I babysit listen to tapes... It's music made by a community church. The only three lines in one of the songs (not exaggerating here...), "You love God, We love God, God loves you and me." They continue these lines through-out the song (that is all it is) to a simple tune. Now, after a while, if you teach a child not to put his hand on the stove, or say a dirty word, he'll stop. If you teach a child to love and respect and believe in God, he will. It's human nature. Now, I'm betting your parents are also Christain. I'm betting they forced you to go to church when you were little, as well. After a little bit, you started going freely... because you learned it was right. But you didn't learn from someone who isn't blinded by religion. You learned from your parents, because they learned from theirs.

If you seeked out your own religion, I praise that. I would admire you greatly if you were not 'blinded from the start'.
