Subject: 6 months
Callie,
Happy late 6 months baby!
We had two appointments last week, started cloth diapering AND I took your six month pictures. At your check up you weighed 18 lbs 12 oz and were 26 and 3/4 inches. Short and FAT! You can now sit by yourself for a very long time..hours even. Can stand for a few minutes (holding our hands of course) and...here's the big one, YOU CAN CLAP! Right now you are sick...got a pretty bad cold. So does your big sister and me too. You love to eat your feet, and you need a
blanky to fall asleep. You are wearing 12-18 month clothes....autumn jumping up and down can make you laugh no mater how upset you are. You are eating every three hours during the day. Your last feeding is at midnight. Then you wake up twice in the nightstill.. Once at around four or five and then again at 8 or 9. Then you eat at noon,3,6,9 and then midnight. Oh and you still won't eat baby food. Once in a while you will eat a few bies of rice cereal...but that's it.

Okay, so I've sat here rewording this for about 20 minutes now which only resulted in me deleting and rewriting the whole thing anyway. So I'm just going to write and not allow myself to delete except for typos so please excuse the stream of consciousness.

I kind of randomly found you through Justin's site when you commented on a post he had just made. I loved the icon picture you had and I wondered if it was someone that I knew in high school (I went to Cedar a year above Justin). Anyway, that brought me to this journal and I started reading and then I felt like a creep invading your life and reading without letting you know that I just read what you wrote. I wanted to let you know that your journal touched my heart. I think how you feel that connection with your children and how much you love them, how they make your whole life complete, that's how I feel. I'm a "crunchy" mom as in I cloth diaper (did for a couple years until, for long personal reasons, I had to stop), breastfeed, baby wear, cosleep, all that jazz.

Anyway, I should probably let you know who I am since I realize that everything is protected. My name's Brianna. I graduated from Cedar in '04. I'm married with two little boys, ages 3 and 4. I'm pregnant with another one due Dec 1st. Really, a lot can be known from my facebook and livejournal, I don't use woohu nearly as often as I used to.

So, I know this is weird, but I added you as a friend to my woohu, you can feel free to read it. I haven't really written much since I had my last baby 3 years ago... And honestly I've changed a lot since then.

But I've probably given you wayyy too much backstory, more than you probably wanted to know, for a simple reply to say "hey, read your woohu, you touched my life, I think you're awesome and I feel awkward telling you so".

Part of me wants to just delete everything else and just keep the quotation part. But then I'd be in the same dillema I was when I started writing this undeleted version 7 minutes ago. *sigh* So, bye?
