"Being a man" is a real pain in the ass.

Being an adult attempting to "be a man" is for the birds, but...that's life. Can't help what can't be helped, and all a guy can do is suck it up and "take it like a man."

The Grand Prix (pricks) is in town, and that, with all certainty, will fuck my weekend up, Goddamn rednecks and their idiotic sports....sport? Is driving a sport? Then I'm one hell of an athlete.

I'm always frustrated by the phrase "take it like a man." Being strong and handling shit is not gender-specific, neither is falling off the bandwagon. Boooo sexpectations and some idea that people should behave a certain way when dealing with issues.

But around here, strength and manliness are requisite, otherwise you are killed and eaten. I doubt it's different for women, but Floridians live in the stone age, and since I was born with a penis I'm expected to hunt the mammoth and war with enemy tribes, whether or not I care to.
