well kids, war on the horizon. Herr Bush isn't going to back down for anything, the majority of the European Union hates us and we're doubtlessly going to end up losing some lives. think of it like abortion, a bunch of men who would otherwise have kids will now be killed, thusly terminating the lives of their unborn children. of course there will be plenty of dead people with kids so the orphan rate and number of single parent families will go up. but hey, it's all good for freedom. after all there's a man who killed his own people 20 years ago using weapons sold to it by the amerikan government. a man who ten years ago invaded a foreign nation for personal gain, much like the US moving into mexico and taking what we now call "texas." a man who allows his people to starve based on sanctions imposed by the US. if anyone's the cruel killer it's the US, they've never given Iraq a fair shake and now, even if they do win this "war" (which i don't see being very likely) it's just going to culminate in more terrorism and a higher resentment of the US from foreign nations. someday i hope to have children, i can dress them in their flak jackets and ballistics helmets and send them through the mine field to school. of course this is assuming i don't get drafted. maybe i'm getting ahead of myself, but the last time the united states went into a nation in order to "liberate" it with no real foreign support and only from one front it lasted for 16 years and ended with a huge loss of life. ahhh, but vietnam was so worth it, after all, they were so important to the way the future shaped up for us. so, yeah, lets kill some people, after all, EVERYBODY who comes back from a real war has so many great things to say about it. why, i love hearing stories from my grandpa's friends about how at Normandy they saw men dead five deep on the beach. yay, go war, let's kill people now and have people killed in the future...killing is so rad!
