*sigh* This week has not been the auspicious time of relaxation I hoped it would be. Let's just say that things have gotten complicated lately, my perspective on a few matter have changed, and I cannot feel my toes at the moment. I know the last bit doesn't seem to fit, but it does.

Thanksgiving sucked. We went from about 17 people to 9, I didn't get to see my cousin from Mississippi, and I got the cold shoulder from the cousin I did get to see. Well, life can't get much better than that.

I also have yet to do most of my work that's due when I get back to school, and I think I'll do that tomorrow when I'm bored out of my mind.

Got a new book today, and it's one of the first D&D books in a long time that I've found for under $30. It's been a bit straining on my cash flow, but since I no longer have to ride the bus everyday, my cash has opened up a bit.

Other than that, my vacation has been okay at best. I think I'll go and finish the rp thing I have going now.

*does the happy dance* VREEE! No school for a week... god I love Thanksgiving... and Christmas, though the buying of gifts does strain my cash flow a bit. I think I'll just cover myself and say "I like any holiday that gets me out of school."

Anyway, vacation all this week, so I'm happy. Got back to writing a bit today, and I think that it's coming out alright. Not much else to say, really. My life's being boring lately. Something must be getting ready to happen... that's normally the only time it gets boring like that. Well, that's about it for now. I'll be back later if that big something ever happens.

Now, my mood says I'm cold, but I mean it literally. I'm freezing my ass off here.

Getting ready to leave and go marching in the Christmas parade. Don't ask me why it's a christmas parade, since it is November. I'd think they'd at least wait until the week of Thanksgiving for that.

Well, last night on gate guard was cold as... well, it was just cold. My toes went numb about halfway through the game, and the only thing that kept the rest of my body from freezing was the drill sequence thingy that our gate was working on.

Well, that's about all for now. I may update this tommorow, depending on how lazy I am.

Well, today was pretty cool. We went on a field trip with ROTC to the Jackson Barracks Military Museum and the Chalmette Battlefield, which was okay. Then we went to the mall for lunch. That was the best part. My first action was to proceed to the arcade and own everyone present in Soul Calibur II. Oh, how I love that game... anyway, we also went to FYE and wandered aimlessly about the mall, attracting stares from the odd shopper as we drifted in and out of stores in full dress uniform.

So, all in all, a good day. Now, if only I could focus and get down to writing something of worth for my book...

Well, we got our report cards yesterday, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Did ok, averaged out about 3.2 without weighting for Honors credit, so I'm not really complaining.

Just read an article on Marilyn Manson. Was a bit strange, but I now have something akin to a healthy respect for him.

Not much else to say, really. I'm bored off my ass, working on making up this English paper, and I haven't really been doing much other than that, school, and reading.

And that's about it. So, I'm out for the time being. Watch for something new. I may actually put something of interest up soon.

...I REALLY want to kill Major Belair, and with an incredibly dull razor blade. He decided to replace me at the last minute for the Homecoming halftime show with the Sabre Team. Why, I have no clue. Maybe it was because I was on time instead of early... which REALLY pisses me off because there were still people putting their ropes and ascots on, which was what I needed to do... so, in short, he screwed me out of tonight, and a day and a half of practice I could have used in my classes. If it was because I missed the pep ralley today... then he's just being a fucking asshole. I told him a day and a half beforehand that I'd no be there, due to my nearly day-long quizbowl matches. So, I have no idea what logic was going through that bald, senile head of his when he did that. Sorry for ranting, but I am pissed as HELL about this, and I need to vent.
