The opera here at CMU next spring will the Mozart's Magic Flute. My favorite opera and the most challenging opera CMU has done to date. We auditioned today, and we will be learning our parts over the summer. And guess what?
I HAVE A LEAD!!!!! I HAVE A HUGE LEAD IN THE MAGIC FLUTE!!!!!!
You all have to come see me!! It will be AMAZING!!! I cant even tell you how excited I am!!!

So I have an interview in G.R. on Monday for another marketing internship. I put my resume on careerbuilder.com last night, and the lady called me today. She said they are really interested because I already have 2 years of marketing under my belt. Full time at $13/hr would be pretty sweet. So I might be in GR this summer. Maybe.

She's such a bitch.
She knows I like him so very much, and what does she do? She asks him on a date one day before I planned. She does not even like him. Shes never even shown the slightest interest untill she found out I like him. Who does that? Honestly. I really might punch her in the face. But for sure im telling her what I think of her when I see her next.

The opera is this weekend. I'm very excited :)
I like Kyle, and I guess I will find out this weekend what he thinks about that. He cant be totally disinterested, he sits and talks to me at rehearsal every night.
And what’s up with my roommate? He sometimes makes things awkward for me. Hmm.

"Altos we can’t hear you. We need more sound from the altos. Altos you were flat. Altos count right.....altos, altos, altos."
wtf dude? There are three other voice parts you can be picking on in Opera rehearsal, not just us. I don’t even sing alto, only for this opera, and I'm still singing louder then the three other alto girls.
I don’t know, maybe its hard to hear the altos because there are twice as many sopranos?? Or maybe, just maybe its because the low register does not carry like the high one? Could it be that the sopranos high B's are going to cover up and altos middle C?? And lastly, could it be that alto is the only part you have ever sung, and that you don’t know how to properly critique the sopranos?
Uhh. Frustration. I have never been yelled at so much for singing in my life.
Way to go altos.
