I wish she'd talk to me. It's been over a week since I told her. It's just weird. I'm in a place where I'm unsure about almost everything with her.

I'm probably getting played, but it feels good.

Most of the time.

Another Note: For once I wish they'd have a radio host on a station I'd actually listen to who was at least halfway educated. It seems like they make 'em stupid these days.

The toilet is fixed, and my dad is adding a 60 gig drive to our computer and wiping all the old shit and spyware that got on our computer (Morpheus's necessary evil). Our computer may actually run faster, with our expanded memory and RAM.

The world is a better place. I think.

Katie's kinda ignoring me. I dunno why.

Right now, it is scene 4 of the play. I am typing this from Mrs. DePhillip's computer in her room. This is kinda cool, multitasking a musical and computer at the same time.

Now, I'm pissed. My dad set restrictions on my Internet and AIM at home. I can only go on AOL for the internet. Plus, he's got AOL so it records everything I do- my emails, my IMs, my web sites. Let alone AOL on its current settings lets me go on about 4 sites.

Weird Dream Last Night
As dreams do fade the longer you stay awake, I'll try to piece it together the best I could:

The people in Anything Goes were rehearsing at this big mansion. I ended up getting a job and living there for some reason, constantly hiding and evading my boss, because she had seen me before (no backstory that I can recall), so constantly I would be going up and down elevators, ducking into closets, or going outside to avoid her. (Strange thing is is that 1/2 the time I went outside it looked like a view if you were standing between Kohl and Menards down by the mall, and 1/2 the time it was like I was on a street in Boston. )

On an unrelated note, there were two kinds of keycards there in this office building/mansion/menards my dream centered in; the orange one, (which people who owned businesses or were workers lower in this corporation who owned the place) which was limited acess and couldn't be used after 7 pm... and the purple one, which executives had, which could get you anywhere.

So, it was a regular habit to go sneaking around avoiding this Boss-lady. I would go and visit Katie Simmer regularly when i was being all stealthy... guess there was a separation of the sexes so i couldn't see her normally.

I remember 2 more scenes from my dream vividly, which really are kind of fragmented:

1) Kelli Batchelder and I were running to deliver something, because we were sent by a guy who looked like George Clooney-hits-Pete-Charron. As we ran down the streets of this neural concoction of Boston, there were a few people in the dark, and I grabbed one of their hands (I assume it was Katie, because we laced our fingers together like we do sometimes)... I turned back to look at her (don't remember if it was her or not) and then started to catch up with Kelli.

2) As I entered the building there was like a show going on in this big marble atrium straight ahead down the hall. I hear Lynn, my boss from Ruth Ann's screaming, "I like that dress!" So, naturally, I turned right to avoid that situation, but ran into this person (I can't remember who) teaching some blocking to the Scottish Janitor guy from simpsons, and Taylah. I was weirded out by seeing this, so I like shook my head lightly like I was trying to rid my head of a bad mental image, and after that I woke up.

Weird, eh? Any interpretations?

:: Music: "She's Got a Way" ~Billy Joel

She's Got a Way
She's got a way about her
I don't know what it is
But I know that I can't live without her
She's got a way of pleasin'
I don't know what it is
But there doesn't have to be a reason anyway
She's got a smile that heals me
I don't know why it is
But I have to laugh when she reveals me
She's got a way of talkin'
I don't know why it is
But it lifts me up when we are walkin' anywhere

She comes to me when I'm feelin' down
Inspires me without a sound
She touches me and I get turned around
She's got a way of showin'
How I make her feel
And I find the strength to keep on goin'

She's got a light around her
And ev'rywhere she goes
A million dreams of love surround her ev'rywhere

She comes to me when I'm feelin' down
Inspires me without a sound
She touches me and I get turned around

She's got a smile that heals me
I don't know why it is
But I have to laugh when she reveals me
She's got a way about her
I don't know what it is,
But I know that I can't live without her anyway

So people apparently hate me now.

In other news, Gary and Andre were both sick last night, so I fufilled my understudy duties and played Whitney. Which was a pain. But i got through it. What amazed me was the thick-headedness of some people, who apparently did not hear Mrs. McConnel announce I was filling in for Gary, remember I was Gary's understudy, saw that I was rigged with a mic, realized I had filled in for Gary before, Played Gary in a few scenes where the chorus was on stage, plus the fact I was running over Gary's lines at every given opportunity in the hallway; yet, they still asked me at the end of practice, "We're you filling in for someone today? If so, who?"

Umm yeah.

Well, things are going well in the world these days I guess... I'm doing something with Katie on Friday I believe, if she's ungrounded. Apparently Nat's and Kailey's thinking about it is that her mom will let her off because I'm a good kid and apparently her mom likes me. (plus one of the primary reasons she got grounded was her mom didn't want her doing stuff with Jeske)

So apparently I'm okay with the 'rents....

For now.

(Kailey and Natalie, what would I do without you?)

One more play practice for the week. No practice saturday. We're gathering people to do something that day, hopefully. Might be at Greg's, Mark's or my place.

augh... god.
Do you hate that feeling, almost a sickening one, when you tell someone something important (like how you really feel about someone) and then whatever friendship you had goes on the rocks, jeopardized?

Sometimes you just have to wait it out while the other person's head clears up, but still, the feeling hurts.

:: Music: "Captain Jack" ~Billy Joel

"Captain Jack, he'll get you high at night..."
Play was alright last night... Except for a few snags it went smoothly. I myself feel like I'm rushing my lines, and my Drunk lines are too quiet... i need to work on that. Fortunately, Mr. Zagar showed me that if you project directly at someone with a mic pack your voice will get picked up, even if you're pretty far away.

I've been on a Billy Joel binge lately. All last night after play I listened to it... Captain Jack, And So it Goes, Goodnight Saigon, Downeaster Alexa, Miami 2017, all the good stuff. And I'm just dying to see Movin' Out, but i doubt it will come near here.

I like the first few days of the marking period. They're routine; just homework in every class... no projects, tests, or convoluted things.

"TECK" DAY 2004
I was at play for officially 10 hours and 32 minutes. got there at 10:15 on the dot, and left at 8:47... Jon Freye suckered me into helping move and focus lights after dinner, and little beknownst to me, it took close to 3 hours. Play was alright today, except for the biggest crack of my life when i had to read for Gary because the bastard left early... I guessi need to start learning his lines so in case he 'has to work the night of a show' I will be close to prepared. That's most likely where he had to go today...

I really think that David Breed is the resident hellraiser, because he always seems to cause problems. I'm saying this in humor; I had one of those "on the crapper epiphanies" that men do, and realized that a lot of the problems my friends have can link back to him. It's more funny than anything.

The traditions returned this year, we looked for the Ghost Carousel but it didn't come this year, the cup of pop with everything in it (aka the nasty drink) was a sucess, because this year it actually tasted gross... maybe because our taste buds were not deadened by the garlic, tomato and pepper in Mrs. Charron's spagetti... instead we had BBQ, salad, potato chips, baked beans, etc... Christina Vresics wouldn't even touch it.

But we didn't tell the "nice people on the corner" jokes... That slipped our minds.

And Josie's pissed at me for some reason.

Pray for Sara's Uncle.

"A Gentleman Caller"

Your gentleman caller,
well, he's been calling on another
he loves his forbidden fruit.
And as it dribbles down his chin
he cries, "Baby, I've been drinking with some friends! Now how 'bout a little kiss..."
Bad boy!
Rub his nose in it!
What a mess
and he's playing dumb
"Doo do doo..."

"I'm not looking for a loverm
all those lovers are liars...
I'd never lie to you
You say you want to get even?
Yeah, you want to get
your bad man good?
Well, are you in the mood?

You bad girl!
Does it feel good being bad?
And getting worse?
"Doo do doo..."

But in the morning
on the sober dawn of Sunday
you're not sure what you have done
Who told you love was fleeting?
Sometimes men can be so misleading
to take what they need from you
Whatever you need to make you feel
like you've been the one behind the wheel
the sunrise is just over that hill
the worst is over
Whatever I said to make you think
that love's the religion of the weak
this morning we love like weaklings
the worst is over.

doo do doo do doo do doo do
doo do doo do doo do doo do
doo do doo do doo do doo do

The worst is over.

(Pat you can find this on the Media Player in Yearbook... It's a good song, especially the second half of it.
