Well of course naturally when I leave for a couple of hours everyone decides to post like crazy. Oh well...

I went to the dentist this morning. It looks like I'm going to have my wisdom teeth pulled sometime this year.

*shudders*

I got some of those "Bertie Blotts Every Flavor Beans" afterwards. Amazingly enough the vomit tastes like lemons, the grass tastes like sugar, and the black pepper tastes worse than the earwax.

Well, that's all for now...

So, looks like I haven't updated since mid July, wow. Guess I forgot that I too have a journal. Anyways, I went to orientation wednesday, with Kyle. My ID picture looks good, but I'm willing to bet that I'll look stoned in the yearbook picture. I got my schedule, which is as follows:

1.Pre-calculus - Rhinehart
2.AP US History - Miller J
3.Spanish 3 - Gorter
4.Speech 1 - Willett
5.Chemistry 1 - McCam
6.English 11 - Marker

It's kind of weird, for the first time since 4th grade I actually have a class with Kyle. Hopefully I'll have at least one other class with someone I know. Afterwards I went over to Heather's(my sister) apartment/house. We rented Silent Hill 3, and I'm proud to say I got through the first two levels without any help. After that we had to go to my sister's work(the Hampton Inn off of Alpine), so we could look up an online walkthrough.

It was kind of funny, when I walked in with her, one of her co-workers thought I was her boyfriend Phil. My sister explained that I was her brother, and he said that he didn't know she had an older brother (by the way, my sister's 22). So I basically bursted in to laughter, while my sister told him that I'm only 16.

Anyways, we went back to her place, and played Silent Hill until 4 A.M. Then she went to sleep, and I continued to play until the sun began to rise at 6 A.M. The next morning I continued to play until 3 P.M., when I had to leave, and just before I reached the final boss of the game.

Since then I haven't done a whole lot. I told Kyle about Silent Hill, which apparently disturbed his sleep, but he already mentioned that.

Va con Dios mi amigos!

I haven't done much lately, but since
-amazingly enough- NO ONE has posted ANYTHING, I thought I should say something. Yesterday I went golfing with my old friend Josh. As usual I lost a couple balls (go ahead, laugh if you must...), but I lucked out, and managed to save a few that skipped accross ponds instead of simply sinking to the bottom with that, always embarresing, sploosh. Afterward Josh backed into a boulder with his (very cool) new car. Needless too say, the only thing coming out of his mouth for the following hour was a nearly endless stream of random profanities.
Today I saw The Matrix : Reloaded in the Imax theater. It was pretty cool. I personally think all movies should have an Imax version made now. I caught a bit that I missed before, but unfortunately, my theory that there may be a Matrix within the Matrix, is still horribly possible. Well that's all I have to say for now...

You know, looking back I noticed that I've posted a total of five times on my journal in the four months in which I've had it. So I'm going to try to make some kind of attempt at an update, and please forgive me if it is the approximate length of a fully annoted version of the bible.

First of all there's Kyle's marshmellow roast last Friday, which, even though I had a migraine during the first half of it (I wonder if anyone noticed that...), was still awesome. It was really nice getting to see most of you again, since I really haven't seen any of you since school got out.

I saw Pirates of the Carribean last saturday, and I must say I was rather impressed with it altogether, especially considering it's affiliation with Disney. I also saw the preview for the next "Disney ride turned movie" concoction, Haunted House. I think that will be yet another one of the many movies I must burn all copies of, along with From Justin to Kelly, and The Others. My family now has a bet on whether the next "ride-turned-movie" will be Space Mountain, or Epcot.

Speaking of movies, I also saw The Gangs of New York a while ago. It was pretty interesting, but DO NOT watch it expecting a bunch of cool gang fights, like they showed in the previews, and also, DO NOT expect a decent ending...

*thinks of ending, spits out window in disgust*

sorry about that...

Well that's really all I have to say at the moment, sorry I haven't been updating my journal lately...

In compensation, please accept these words of wisdom:

"In anime, the only difference between a man and a woman is often merely the letters 'W' and 'O'."

Well, I just finished the new Harry Potter book last night. It was pretty good, though I can't believe they killed off Dumbledore...
I mean really, I know he turns evil in the end, but he still seemed like a decent guy...
I just wonder who the new headmaster of Hogwarts will be...

...

...

Just kidding! No actually I'll tell you this for sure, Dumbledore doesn't die. I just wanted to freak out any one that hasn't finished the book yet...
Seriously though, if you really pay attention, the major death comes as no surprise. Although it's still pretty depressing. Hmmm...
not a whole lot happening in my life, to be honest I would have posted another one of those annoying two line entries(no offense intended to anyone who has posted one), but I decided I'd try to throw something worthwhile in. Well, that's really all I have to say for the moment, I'd like to go more in depth with the story, but you're probably all ready to kill me after the above joke, so I'll just stop.

Well, there isn't a whole lot happening in my life right now. I helped my sister move into her apartment on Friday. It was actually quite fun, since I don't often get a chance to hang out with her, and afterwards we walked from her apartment down to the festival in Grand Rapids(only a quarter mile walk in case you're curious). I didn't really see any one or thing interesting, although I don't really expect anything to top the Hari Krishnas I saw walking through town in old style robes covered in white paint last year.

Still, the food was excellent (as it always is) and I had a good time.

During the weekend I did nearly nothing, well that is, other than my usual weekend gaming binge. I saw an episode of Trigun last night on Adult Swim, it actually was quite impresive, I thought. I'll have to see more of it I think...

Today I went driving around town with my mom(I still don't have half the hours I need for driver's ed), and we stopped at Best Buy to buy an extension cord for my sister, and bumped into a few old neighbors. It was really quite amusing, since the last time I saw them I was short, squeeky voiced little 8 year old boy, and now (for those of you who may not know me) I am 6'4"(roughly a foot taller than all of them were), and very deep voiced. Naturally the two could not help but gawk at me the whole time I was there.
After that I came home and saw the Animatrix on pay-per-view. It was quite intriguing, and by all means, awesome. I give my highest recommendations for all who have not seen it to rent it immediately. Trust me, if the immensely deep and dark concepts don't capivate you, the magnificent artistry should. Otherwise, you are a pretty sad, strange example of a human being, erm, no offense intended to those who decide they don't like it....

Well, that's all I have to say for now, farewell everyone!

Well there's been quite a bit of time between this and my last journal entry. I haven't done a whole lot, but I did finally change my journal from the standard format, so now it actually looks kind of cool. I have been extremely tired lately, and I'm sorry if I've been slightly antisocial with you all, It's just that every other thought that crosses my brain has been "must... sleep..." I almost gave in and passed out in the middle of biology, but somehow I managed to hold on.

This weekend was just what I needed to forget about the remaining two weeks of school. I did not really do much. In fact, I would say that I maybe spent 60% of it merely playing .hack// Infection (incredibly addictive and fun) on my PS2.

I had Kyle over on Friday, as you may already know from his posts. It was quite a bit of fun, we watched Kung Pow! (perhaps one of the funniest movies I have ever seen), played .hack , and watched the dvd that came with it.

After he left I went with my family to see The Matrix Reloaded, which I suppose makes me the last one here to have seen it (other than Kyle, that is). It was pretty good, although I still can’t quite figure out why they had to put in that gratuitous sex scene. I mean seriously, it had no real effect on the plot, was much longer than it needed to be, and was actually slightly disturbing with all the metal plugs in their bodies. Otherwise the movie was really good, and contrary to what EVERY SINGLE REVIEWER seems to think, I thought it was actually very easy to understand the concepts presented by the movie, and I still give it my highest recommendation.

Speaking of The Matrix, I just took that “Which Matrix Character Are You?” test, and apparently I’m Agent Smith. This would be the sixth test of the six here that I’ve taken that have declared me to be some kind of antagonist. Oh well, at least none of them say that I’m a sociopathic freak that likes to strut around in woman’s underwear singing “I’m a little teapot.”

Well it appears that I have neglected yet another journal (I now have a total of four journals that I have tried to start and then forgot about halfway through). I suppose there has not been a whole lot going on in my life. Last weekend I went mushroom hunting with Kyle (as I'm sure you probably already know). It was actually incredibly relaxing, I need to do more things like it.

I've been taking most of those tests everyone keeps throwing out here (and a few others that weren't posted). So far I have determained that I match up with virtually every single big antagonist in the planet (including sephiroth, and Vicious amoung many others), and that (according to emode's "Are You Evil?" test) I am 90% black-hearted, and 60% evil. I really can't figure out why all these tests are making me out to be so evil. I'll admit, I have had my brushes with the dark side of the force, but I never thought I would register at 90% black-heartedness. Oh well...

Changing topics, I cannot wait to see The Matrix Reloaded. Of course who here thinks otherwise?(other than Kyle the poor fellow who apparently still has yet to see the first Matrix).

I've been scoping out everyone's journals lately, and I must say, I have only the slightest shred of a clue as to what half the songs are that you all keep posting. I'm afraid that I most likely will not be joining everyone else in posting lyric after lyric(to be honest, most of the songs I like don't even have any lyrics). I think I will try to post a few words of wisdom instead, tell me what you think.

I cannot help but be awestricken. There are so many people here who simply put their lives and thoughts on a website, with little care as to who reads. I have a feeling that I probably will never reach that level of openness. After all, those of you who know me in real life still most often cannot say much more about me than: he’s pretty quiet, he’s smart, or my personal favorite: he’s tall. I still cannot help but smile ever so slightly whenever someone looks up at me and says: “You know, you’re really tall.” I mean, honestly, of course I realize I’m tall, and for those of you who ask so often, yes I do in fact realize that I am quiet, and no, I do not know why.
I did little today. I mostly relaxed at home, guzzling apple cider (if there is anything worthy of the name ambrosia, I would say it must be apple cider) while I watched t.v. or wrote on my computer, or simply played a few video games (Mostly Grand Theft Auto, but a little bit of Devil May Cry, in case you were curious). I had to mow the lawn for a while, but other than that my chores were minimal. I heard about this site from Kyle a few days ago, so I thought I would try to make my first post today.
Other than that I’ve been spending the day not working on my Job-Shadow project (I would like to point out that I am perhaps the most insane procrastinator on the planet. I‘ve been known to type up 6-7 page reports/presentations the day before they’re due). I’ll probably be busy with it on Monday (it’s due Tuesday).
