I can feel my attitude changing towards every little thing that is going on right now. It feels like I can physically hurt someone, or something and not even care. No, I'm not thinking about murdering anyone, so don't let rumors fly.

I'm tired of waking up every morning to face a battle with my parents. I feel as though I'm being treated like a 5 year old, and in reality, I'm a 17 year old who is going to be graduating from high school this year. I can't ever voice my opinions, so I usually just say them to myself; atleast I'll listen. I didn't feel like doing that this time. Things such as getting my license and being able to go out with friends on school nights may seem like little things, but little things are what bother me the most. I haven't done anything to anyone in order for them to lose their trust with me; and I don't intend to be treated as though I have.

While I'm on the subject of things bothering me, I might as well continue on with something else.

Dear Friend,

You'll wake up sometime and realize what you're doing wrong, and why it's wrong. Take 10 minutes out of your busy schedule to think to yourself why you're doing what you're doing, and then try to tell me that it's something worthwhile.

Becky.

Parents are parents, but without them.. what would we do? I miss my Mom even though she's an alcoholic.

Dear Friend,
You are supposed to be supportive throughout whatever your friends are going through. If you don't like something that they are doing/did- talk to them about it and tell them why you don't like it.
Love you,
Jena.

I always want to hurt someone, like seriously just bash someones face in. I think thats normal for a teenage girl to want to do. The time when it gets really bad is when you want to hurt yourself, at least you aren't there yet. I know how you feel about the "little things" if my parents didn't let me get my license or go out on a school night I would be angry, I think you are old enough to do that I mean, we are almost out of HS, gosh. But yeah, I understand everything you are saying. I learned that not voicing your opinions and not saying how you feel can be harmful to you so you should really work on that, I used to be the same way (and now I've changed and it makes things a lot better)!!

That was a long comment, and I like those. It lets me know that someone really reads my entries!
Anyways, thanks for the advice; I try to voice my opinions..
But I always get in trouble when I do.

Haha, I'm glad you like it becaue I like getting them too (hint hint) just kidding. But seriously, I like giving advice, I mean hey, I do want to be a Psychologist. But yeah, you should pick and choose your "battles" or what you speak out about. Like if it's someting you feel really strongly about then that is what you should speak out about, not something that doesn't concern you or just something you feel so so about. Blah I don't know, if it's something you care strongly about I guess it's kind of worth getting in trouble over??

I feel the exact same way sometimes, and it's really frusterating. But writing about it helps, for me anyways. My parents are the same way-- but moreso my mother. She doesn't like me hanging out on school nights, and that sort of pushed my boyfriend into breaking up with me. If you ever need to vent, you can yell at me if you like.
