ok so im BURNING WITH JEALOUSY because a very talented friend of mine is being comissioned to draw. that is my dream. why havent i accomplished this, you ask? well because im a perfectionist who lacks self-confidence. what a horrible mess. so yea, i'm striving to be able to do the same as she is now and have people pay me to draw for them by then end of 2007. HOPEFULLY this will happen. my photoshop teacher said the earlier the better, well i'll do my best. :/

here's something im working on. tch, this would be nothing without the damn textures..

:/ hmm. i feel like i'm cheating because of the textures..i just LOVE the use of textures, specially skin types. asadffs what do you think? is it cheating? is it me being lazy? >:

just fyi.. im incredibly jealous of both yours and mels accomplishments (mel doesnt get paid yet but shes ask to do EVERYTHING) ..but thats allmy fault for the same reasons you gave.. im a perfectionist and take atleast a week to finish a pic.

but. you've nothing to worry about really. you're talented. just keep working at it..keep putting out your art for others to see(like Da and whatnot XD)...cause you have the potential i odnt have u_u

YEAAAA BUUT im scared that no one will like me. u_u anyhow, i'm trying and not giving up..that counts..sorta.

and theres nothing wrong with taking your time to finish something. XD as long as you dont have a deadline.

People say blurring is cheating but there isn't a real rule that says it or anything. You probably aren't the only uses textures so don't worry about it.

I'm a perfectionist too. ):

!!! blurring??! oh hell no, its not cheating. i know so many astists, who are popular, and use the blur tool as if there was no tomorrow.

i just think i used too many textures, ima take off some.
