'ello all. So yesterday Tracey and I had the privilege to see the first episode from the new Hellsing OVA. Can anybody say drool? Cuz drool it is!
ZOMIGOSH!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! Not only is the animation style more like the style from the manga, but it also follows the manga much closer than anything else I've ever seen! And the music...oh the music...my ears were about ready to have orgasms when they heard the music. Yes, it's that good.
And the best part? NAZIS my friends, nazis. The OVA will contain the lubberly nazis which we encounter in the manga, as well as the great and mighty Rip van Wrinkle.
In other news, I need to cut my hair. And I saw my parents and Andy today. Mom gave me socks for the accursed day; they's gots cows on 'em!!! And "Moo" written underneath the cows. I squealed with joy, I did ~_^

I learned today that I'm an uncultured heathen, uncouth and crass.
We had to read the play "M. Butterfly" for my English class, which is a good play so read it. Anywhos, the opera "Madame Butterfly" is mentioned time and time again in the play because it is the main character's favorite opera. So today we watched part of it in class. I was excited, I was finally going to see what all the fuss was about. And then...
Then I learned, about a minute or two in, that I frickin hate the opera. Seriously. They're carrying on and on, making exaggerated moves and opening their mouths so wide you can see their tongues moving around inside. All I wanted to see was the end of the opera, when the heroine (Cho Cho-san aka Madame Butterfly) kills herself. Frickin, I was gonna kill myself before she even got to grabbing her knife and committing seppuku.
I'm not an opera person except when on a killing spree playing GTA. So phooey to all you posh folks, saying that opera is an art and worth being enjoyed. I'd much rather go to a Rammstein concert, thank you very much ;p

I saw Kelly the Bond this weekend!!!!!
Amanda version 1.0, the Jender Bender, Eric, and I went up to Central to visit. We're definitely Western students because we totally hated almost everything there except for the food and the room layouts. Never got a chance to get a malt from the Malt Shop...oh well =_=
I met a coupla interesting Jungs there at Central. They're rockin. And I saw "Battle Royale" which is majorly fucked up. Yes. Those crazy Japanese.
Right now I'm reading "M.Butterfly", which is an interesting play. I can't wait to discuss it in my English class tomorrows.

In case any of you haven't heard yet, I have a room to myself now. No more roommate.
In other news, I'm sick. And feel like something stepped on me. Gleck. So...cold...so...icky...I hate winter and all that comes with it (except for Rachel's birthday and Christmas).
Less than half an hour until German. I have my compy with me today so I can play music during my stupid Referat (presentation). It's about Oomph! and how they rock hardcore. No seriously, I'll be talking about how a German band has been around since 1989 and hasn't quit with all the American bands taking over Europe. And how they managed to get a golden record.
So yeah...looks like we're heading up to Central this weekend. Joy.

Also, Leute...
It has come to my attention that my birthday is in less than a week (it's on Sunday, January 22). I wish to remain in the Kzoo area to celebrate, but you all are invited down to celebrate with me! We'll be partyin' it up at a chinese restaurant called Joy Fong which is located in Portage. I'd be honored if you guys came down and joined in on the celebrations.
I'll post more details later on in the week when I have more time and am not about ready to go to class.

Yay! No classes today!!! So I slept in late. It was great.
No classers on Monday, either. I've never gotten MLK day off for school before, except maybe in Illinois because my school was more diverse than Rockford will ever be.
